I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Roosevelt University in Chicago and am a licensed therapist in Illinois.
My clinical background has given me extensive experience working with trauma, attachment, emotional patterns, relationships, self-concept, nervous-system responses, and the ways our past experiences can shape how we move through the world.
But this experience is NOT therapy.
Therapy is a clinical service focused on mental health, psychological symptoms, and treatment. Coaching is future-focused and centered on growth, action, self-development, perspective shifts, decision-making, and intentional change.
We aren't recreating a therapy session.
We're asking:
Who are you becoming?
What do you actually want?
What keeps getting in the way?
What would change if you stopped organizing your life around who you had to be to survive?
Coaching may incorporate trauma-aware concepts and tools, but it does not replace psychotherapy or other mental-health treatment.
Because I maintain a clear ethical separation between my clinical and coaching practices, I am unable to provide coaching to any current or former therapy clients. A therapeutic relationship cannot be transitioned into a coaching relationship.
